Call for article ends in
Call for articles to be published on Oceanopedia.
If your submitted articles are selected, they will be published here on oceanopedia.org under your name and you will be paid BDT1000 per article.
The theme of the article should be strictly related to oceanography. If you’re not sure whether your idea is appropriate, email us for confirmation. The article should be educational. It should tell a story or explain a complicated topic. The language should be simple but not extremely so. No plagiarism/paraphrasing allowed. Usage of images is encouraged (please also share the source of the image to so that we can confirm its copyright compliance). Adding references would be seen as a big plus.
Exceptional writers will have the chance to work with us in the future on a regular basis.
Submission guidelines:
Email your article to us at oceanopedia.org@gmail.com, keep zahin06@gmail.com and fakhrulalam006@gmail.com as CC. The subject line should follow this format:
“Oceanopedia article submission – Title of your article“.
Example subject: “Oceanopedia article submission – The Mysterious Life of Eels”.
The articles should be sent as attachments to the email. Accepted file formats are: docx
and md
. If you choose docx
, use only 1 font throughout the file – calibri or open sans; font size 11pt for body text. You may send more than 1 email. Submissions are limited to 3 articles per person this time.
Everyone is eligible to submit articles.
The submission window closes on 28 February 2025 at 11:59 PM. We expect to select and publish 10 articles from this call.
